Round 4 moved to Snetterton in Norfolk which more than made up for the disappointment of Knockhill.

Practice went well and I was making good progress with a combined position of 8th.

Qualifying again was generally positive, finding my way to 10th position on the grid.

Race 1 on Saturday was a difficult affair as I got held up on the first lap. By the time I broke through the lead pack were too far ahead for me to be able to bridge the gap. I finished in 9th place with a 10 sec gap to 10th place. My lap time from race one meant I started race 2 in P9.

Race 2 on Sunday was a seismic change for me. “I did the out lap on slicks when it started to rain so when I pulled up on the grid it was declared a wet race so we had plenty of time to change over to wets, whilst changing my visor too.
The lights went out and I got a good great start, by the end of lap one I was already in 3rd. By the second lap I was 2nd and I was starting to catch the leader, Evan Belford, but I also had company in the form of Julian Correa. My pit board showed me that he was gaining on me so I put the hammer down as the track was beginning to dry. I knew I had enough life left in my tyres to last the race.
I continued to gain on Evan but I couldn’t quite reel him in for the win and took 2nd place.
I was more than happy with this result as it is my best finish yet. I thought the elation of my first podium was strong, and that will stay with me forever, but to get another place higher so soon is just something else.

I am building on my confidence and my belief. I’m hoping it’s only a matter of time before my first win comes”.
“None of this would be possible without my mum and dad. I would also like to thank my sponsors, as without them I would not be able to be out there, so huge thanks to SP125 Racing, Amphibian Scaffolding, Amphibian Apparel, Rock Oil, NGK spark plugs, Wiz Racing, Auritech, Coverwell, Facelift Home Improvements, L Brown Construction, Vircos Leathers, Helmet City, Crawley Boxing Club and Muk Junkie Bike Cleaner”.

The next round comes in at Brands Hatch in Kent on 21st -23rd July.
