RedBull MotoGP Rookies Cup

The Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup is a highly competitive, one-make motorcycle racing championship that serves as an essential proving ground for future MotoGP riders. All participants compete on identical KTM RC 250 R bikes to ensure a level playing field, with only minimal modifications permitted. This format highlights the riders’ talent, skill, and racecraft rather than relying on technical advantages.

Riders are selected for this prestigious championship either through exceptional performance in domestic and international competitions or via a rigorous two-day selection event that identifies emerging talent from around the world. The championship is open to riders aged between 15 and 19 years, and participation is considered a gateway for young racers aiming to progress into the MotoGP World Championship or World Superbikes.

This unique format, combined with its global recognition, makes the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup an unparalleled opportunity for aspiring riders to develop and showcase their abilities on some of the most iconic circuits in Europe.
