Round 3 took the championship to Knockhill Circuit in Scotland. A short and tricky circuit but a place where I have previously had good form.
Unfortunately this was not to transpire with me falling foul of a string of bad luck.
“After the high of Donington I went to Knockhill feeling confident, it turns out the best thing about the weekend was the weather! That was nice”.

Qualifying saw me struggle with my settings and claiming 14th on the grid.
Race 1 on Saturday was not the strongest of races, “I just found it difficult to get into a rhythm with the bike and circuit, I knew I could go quicker as I had last season but I just couldn’t find what I needed”, I came across the line 10th, however due to track limits I was penalised with a 2 sec penalty meaning I would drop to 18th.

Race 2 on Sunday didn’t go any better with a DNF. Looking back at the weekend “it was an emotional rollercoaster, if I’m honest I’m glad to see the back of that round, I was shocked at my results and I really cannot explain them, sorry to my team, sponsors and supporters. Believe me, this one has gone in the ‘forget bin’ and I move on”.

I will take this short break and reflect on my weekend and come back more positive for myself, my team, family and of course my loyal sponsors Amphibian Scaffolding, Amphibian Apparel, Rock Oil, NGK spark plugs, Wiz Racing, Auritech, Coverwell, Facelift Home Improvements, L Brown Construction, Vircos Leathers, Helmet City, Crawley Boxing Club and Muk Junkie Bike Cleaner”.
