Round 4 at Knockhill in Scotland held over the Father’s Day weekend of 18th /19th June.

This is the furthest track for us on the race calendar.  “I was keen to maintain my form, Knockhill is a circuit that I have previously managed some good times. I was determined to get good results as a thank you to my dad for everything he has done for me, especially on Father’s Day”.

The weekend started on Friday with FP1. “It was wet but I managed to string a bunch of laps together for p2, the weather changed in FP2 and it was dry, I managed to finish p7 after another solid session”.

Qualifying came on Saturday morning, I finished up in p9, “It was not ideal and I had more pace than I showed. I couldn’t find a tow and struggled all session with the wind that Knockhill is famous for”.

Race1 came later on Saturday afternoon, “I didn’t get a great start, but found a good line through turn 1 and found myself up the field in the leading group.  I slipped back down the order a little and ended up battling for p5 eventually settling in p7”.

It wasn’t long to wait for race2 on Sunday “I started the race p10, 1 position lower than race 1.

I made a good start and a good lap 1 and found myself battling for p2.  The group split and I was fighting for p6 and ended up coming home in p9.

Overall a difficult weekend but we made the most of it managing two more top ten point scoring rides”.

I am grateful to those that make racing possible, all my sponsors and my team for a great bike,
